The mid-term meeting for the Empowerment Women through Entrepreneurship project, held on May 8, 2024, marked a significant milestone in this Erasmus+ initiative (2023-1-DE04-KA210-YOU-000165233). Spanning 15 months, this collaboration among Highlights e.V. (Germany), Karya Kadin Dernegi (Turkey), and Debatni Club Grada Nisha (Serbia) focuses on fostering entrepreneurial skills among young women and youth workers.
Key agenda highlights included:
-
Reflection on the Past Training: Discussions focused on outcomes, challenges, and participant feedback to inform the next stages.
-
Toolkit Development: Updates were shared on the structure, content, and ongoing testing of the entrepreneurship toolkit.
-
Dissemination Progress: Efforts to share project insights via social media, newsletters, and local community workshops were reviewed.
-
Future Plans: Scheduling workshops in Turkey, planning handbook distribution, and finalizing next meeting arrangements.
The meeting emphasized the project’s overarching goals: improving the quality of youth-focused activities, increasing intercultural collaboration, and strengthening the entrepreneurial mindset among young people, especially women. The new toolkit—tested with youth groups across participating countries—promises to be a valuable resource, enabling organizations to create meaningful, high-quality educational experiences.
With successful local workshops already underway in Germany and upcoming events in Turkey, the project continues to advance its mission of empowering young women through innovation and entrepreneurship.
