Since 2022, Highlights e.V. has been creating opportunities for young people and adults to learn, connect and take action — through international exchanges, training, community initiatives and collaborative projects across Europe.

Creating spaces where young people and adults can learn, connect and shape what comes next.

We bring young people and adults from different backgrounds together through non-formal learning, shared experiences and meaningful participation. Our projects create opportunities to develop skills, exchange perspectives, explore important social challenges and turn ideas into action.

HOW WE GOT HERE

How we got here

2022
Highlights e.V. was founded
Our journey began in Erlangen with a vision to create meaningful learning and connection for young people and adults.
2022
Our first European projects
Highlights began coordinating youth exchanges around mindfulness, sustainability and intercultural learning.
2023–2025
Growing beyond youth exchanges
Our work expanded into entrepreneurship, mental health literacy, civic participation, inclusion and international cooperation projects.
2026
A growing European community
25+ Erasmus+ projects since 2022, collaborations across 15+ countries, and a growing network of young people and adults, organisations and communities.
