Ongoing · September 2026 – August 2027

Nature-based Adult Education for Well-being and Inclusion is an Erasmus+ small-scale partnership in adult education, action KA210-ADU, coordinated by Highlights e.V. with GÒ CARO in Italy and Logos Polska in Poland. The project period runs from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. It sets out to improve adult education by combining mental well-being, green skills, and outdoor learning in one practical model.
The partners describe complementary starting points. Highlights e.V. brings mindfulness and resilience work. GÒ CARO brings ecological and sustainability education from Veneto. Logos Polska brings outdoor education and experience with adult learners. Together they plan focus groups, research into existing practice, and study visits in Italy, Germany, and Poland. Those strands are meant to feed one workbook, Nature-based Adult Education for Well-being & Inclusion, with modules on well-being, ecology, and outdoor education.
The people the application names first are adult learners who may find classroom courses hard to join, including migrants, women, rural adults, and people who are socially isolated, and the educators who work with them. Outdoor formats are planned because they can lower language and social barriers. Expected results include six focus groups and a needs-analysis report, nine documented practices, three modules, the workbook, and three multiplier events. These are planned outputs. They are not reported here as completed or published.
A meeting in Nuremberg is planned for 15–17 September 2026, with two representatives from each partner, to confirm roles, timeline, and how the needs analysis and best-practice research will work.
From 1 October to 30 November 2026, Logos Polska is planned to lead focus groups. Each partner is expected to run two groups of eight adults, in Germany, Italy, and Poland, and to contribute to one comparative report.
From 1 December 2026 to 31 January 2027, each partner is expected to document three practices — well-being in Germany, ecology in Italy, and outdoor education in Poland — nine in total.
Three visits are planned for project staff, three people from each organisation. Ecology in Italy, 16–18 February 2027, hosted by GÒ CARO. Well-being and resilience in Germany, 13–15 April 2027, hosted by Highlights e.V. Outdoor education in Poland, 18–20 May 2027, hosted by Logos Polska.
Highlights e.V. is planned to coordinate a workbook, Nature-based Adult Education for Well-being & Inclusion, from October 2026 to June 2027. It is expected to hold three modules — well-being, ecology, and outdoor education — in English, with German, Italian, and Polish translations.
One-day events are planned for 22 July 2027 in Germany, Poland, and Italy. Each is described as reaching at least 20 adult educators and community practitioners, and as presenting the workbook.
A two-day evaluation meeting in Padova is planned for 17–18 August 2027, led by GÒ CARO, to review activities, feedback, and dissemination.
From September 2026 to August 2027 the partners plan ongoing outreach, including EPALE, partner channels, and translation of the workbook into the three national languages.
Adult learners aged about 25 and over, including migrants, women returning to work, rural adults, and people experiencing stress or social isolation, plus adult educators, trainers, and NGO staff in Germany, Italy, and Poland.
Six focus groups and one comparative needs-analysis report are planned. They are not published results.
The research phase is expected to document nine practices, three from each partner country.
Well-being, ecology, and outdoor learning are the three modules the workbook is planned to contain.
One digital workbook, Nature-based Adult Education for Well-being & Inclusion, is the main planned output. It is not available as a published file yet.
Events in Germany, Poland, and Italy are planned for 22 July 2027 so educators outside the partnership can hear about the workbook.
