About this guide

This guide is built on a single conviction: finance is not a private matter. Every euro spent, saved, taxed, borrowed, or invested is a social act with consequences for others. These workshops help young people across Europe see themselves not just as individual consumers — but as economic citizens whose choices, voices, and collective action shape the continent they live in.

Each workshop can be used as a standalone session or run as a 10-part programme. All activities are written in enough detail to pick up and run without specialist knowledge.

The closing pages name the organisations that developed the guide: Highlights e.V. (Germany), EduMansha (Portugal), and Informamentis Europa (Italy). The PDF does not state a calendar publication date, so publishedDate is omitted rather than invented.
