Focus
Local dissemination
The event brought the project beyond its original participants and partners. It created an opportunity for young people, youth workers, educators, community organisations and other interested stakeholders to explore the learning materials and consider how they could be used in future activities.
What was presented
The event introduced the full development journey of Invest in Youth:

- the need identified by the partnership
- findings from the international survey
- development of the educational board game
- the Finance is Civic guide
- the international youth-worker training in Caserta
- experiences and feedback from the local pilot activities
The survey findings provided context for the project. They showed that although many participants understood basic personal finance, the connection between money, public services and civic responsibility was less familiar.
Experiencing the materials
The event was designed around participation rather than presentation alone. Guests were introduced to the game and invited to experience how it transforms financial topics into decisions, consequences and group conversations.

The accompanying guide demonstrated how youth workers and educators can connect gameplay to subjects such as taxation, public services, inflation, debt and community wellbeing. This gave participants a practical understanding of how the materials could be used with their own groups.
Connecting the project to the local community
Hosting the multiplier event in Erlangen allowed Highlights e.V. to connect the European partnership with organisations and communities in the Nürnberg-Erlangen region. The event encouraged discussion about how accessible financial education could support:

Continuing beyond the project
The long-term value of Invest in Youth depends on the materials continuing to be used after the project period. The board game will be available in a print-and-play format, together with the Finance is Civic guide. Materials are being developed in English, German, Italian and Portuguese to make them easier to use in different educational and community settings.
The multiplier event supported this next stage by introducing the outputs to people and organisations that can apply, adapt and share them.
