WELLCORE Begins Online
The WELLCORE partnership opened with an extended online kick-off meeting. Coordinated by SCIARA, it brought together the partners from Italy, Spain, Bulgaria and Germany to agree how the project would be run over the following 18 months.

Setting up the partnership
The kick-off allowed the partners to review the approved project, clarify responsibilities, and agree how the work would be coordinated. The main areas of discussion were:
- the partnership agreement
- budget and reporting rules
- the Steering Committee and the Quality Committee
- the quality plan led by Highlights e.V.
- the partner meeting schedule
- shared online workspaces and a common repository
The partners also agreed how the project would stay accessible and inclusive, from the languages of the website and results to the accessibility of venues and the selection of participants. Most meetings stay online to reduce travel.
Next steps
After the meeting, the partners began the research for the Good Practices compilation and the first outline of the training programme, together with the dissemination plan and project identity.
